| huh? both political parties were responsible for the original breakup of MA-Bell, and it's quite probable that there was a slight edge for republicans to back the DOJ action more than democrats as to not give them ammunition in the election cycle. who wants to talk about telecom when big oil's been raping the consumer for the last 4 years.
this reaction was more about CONSUMERS IN REVOLT than at&t losing on policy to the democrats. republicans in the senate have veto power over most federal actions (2+ years running), that's why the economy is in the toilet. |
