[FireFox] Firefox 13.0

The official release - all systems & languages will show up here
»www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
--------------------
The planned release build, Firefox 13.0 Release Candidate (b7), is available: (official release June 5)

Here are the beta release notes; subject to change.

Don't see this in the existing release notes; it is landed in 13:

Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems

This has happened where the 'final' build is released only to have something happen before the official release day and it's either delayed or pulled and rereleased by the official release day. I'll just wait until the 5th.

Ya, but we I don't post the ftp link because those servers aren't balanced for for pubic use(for the mirrors). Mozilla has requested many times not to link there.

There actually is no "final build" 'til it hits release servers/mirrors. Mozilla has made it clear the ftp is not "release" server.

Well they have to make that clear to MajorGeeks. I am not concerned. Running the supposedly non-beta version now and it is running great. In a couple days once the "official" final is released, I will install that one.

Fwiw, also available via the internal updater now. (I ran it manually).
Updated fine, and all seems well...so far.

Thanks.

I'd just wait a day or two...(well, unless you can't stand to wait). Will probably update just fine, eventually. This internal updater stuff can be a little crazy at times, with the timing, that is.
I also assume you tried the file menu: Help/About Firefox/check for updates.

Could have been a server-side issue due to high demand, Trooper See Profile you might right it off as a one-off.

I did actually. Just thought it was weird that help about did not result in anything.

Yeah, just try again in a while. (Or even tomorrow), I'm sure it will update eventually.

So far so good.
All extensions working fine.

As usual the partial update failed so I downloaded the full version and did a manual install.

Still no auto updater working. Did a fresh uninstall reinstall, strange things happening.

Im getting a certificate error when trying to go to the Mozilla Add ons page. Also, my adblock plus subscription (any of them really) are all failing to download.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Rapid Release happens [more than] quickly enough for me--no need to rush it by pulling something from ftp/pub before the stable release is actually GA.

And, hey!, don'tcha love those new twice-as-large dropmarkers on the toolbar [menu] buttons? [not] (man, the things these devs get up to when you're not watching 'em [hmmm, what else can we do to make it look different from the last release])
