[Config] Cisco 871 - ip traffic-export issue
Hi Cisco experts,
I am having a problem with my Cisco 871 router. It is running IOS 12.4(24)T5 Advanced IP Services.
I have been using "ip traffic-export" to monitor my WAN port with Snort. Today I tried to disable my ip traffic-export profile.....and it will not let me delete it.
I don't know if I am not following the correct procedure, or what.
Here is the relevant info from my config:
ip traffic-export profile test1
ip address negotiated
ip access-group ingress_filter in
ip access-group egress_filter out
no ip redirects
no ip unreachables
no ip proxy-arp
ip mtu 1452
ip nbar protocol-discovery
ip flow ingress
ip nat outside
ip traffic-export apply test1
dialer pool 1
To disable/erase it, I to do the reverse of the procedure listed here:
So I typed the following:
no ip traffic-export apply test1
*this was successful - it disassociated it from Dialer0.
Next in the config terminal mode, I typed the following:
no ip traffic-export profile test1
At this point I receive the following error:
"Cannot delete the profile. Another session may be using the profile. Exit from the profile."
I have searched google and cisco to no avail.
Towards the end of the link that I posted, it says to do what I have done....
So has anyone ever experienced this? Am I going to have to redo my entire config because of this? And does anyone know once it is no longer associated with Dialer0, if it will do anything? Or if it is just an ip traffic-export profile that is not being used?
Hope my questions make sense.
Thanks for any help.
Dialer interfaces are cloned on use. You'll have a Virtual-Access interface generated from the dialer. Reset the dialer interface (shut / no shut) and it should clear it. You may also have to clear the dsl interface (or whatever is using the dialer.)
