Re: [HD] Another QAM Bites the Dust - More Spanish MPEG-4 HD! I thought the original 5 Spanish language HD additions were just to "test" the MPEG 4 distribution process - somewhat similar to how they brought out the 3 new MLB InDemand HD channels. Supposedly they were introducing to a limited size audience to insure the process went ok.
By bringing out another 5 HD's to the Spanish language package seems to blow that theory out of the water. Who knows where they go from here which for those of us who love FIOS and would like to stay may have to rethink our options. For me, it is getting harder each month to live with the static situation whereby what you have is what you will get for the foreseeable future. Especially when they are increasing rates for converters and eventually for all packages.
Seems they could have satisfied both the Spanish and English speaking audiences by offering something to each. |
