 | reply to Koil Bahhh sorry, i read the thread and didnt look at the poll.
I played on JQ throughout the BWE's and had no problems with the community there FWIW. They did fairly well in WvW also. I often ended up in que to get in, and always ended up in a borderland when i did get in. |

I am on the fence with this game because of other time commitments but if it looks good enough, I'll jump on and maybe play with you all. Yoggscast did a full series on this for the beta that was pretty good. I would recommend checking those on youtube for a general idea of the game -- I am stating my opinion. I don't remember if it's in a dye form, which will allow your current piece of equipmen to look like one which you won't be using because of the upgrade. It retains the appearance of the old item on your new one. It is a transmog type deal, the difference is (from what I saw in videos, is that the item that has the stats you want is destroyed and the stats are placed on the piece of gear that you like the look, so you start with 2 end with 1. The dye system will allow you to dye multiple parts of a given piece of gear. There are about 400 dyes available iirc. Chefs are able to make dyes as well.

from GW2 wiki
Players begin the game with access to a set of starter colors, which vary between each race. As players progress through the game, dye can be acquired in the following ways:
•Purchasing a Dye Pack from the Gem Store for 200. •Placing four dyes into the Mystic Forge to create a new dye. •Sometimes Unidentified Dye drops from gathering or mobs which when used become a random dye. •Dyes can be acquired via the cooking crafting skill. •Purchased from other players though the Trading Post •Found from PvP reward chests.
There are 390 different colors of dye. All acquired dye can be viewed via the equipment tab on the hero panel interface. -- I am stating my opinion. Obviously you don't like it. Honestly, I don't care. |
