Completed fractals 10 last night, where agony begins

Boss mechanics are slightly different for each boss, and additionally agony is not what I expected.

Bosses have additional attacks that cause agony damage, which cream you for like 80% of your health, and you are lucky to live thru it

it's not just a debuff that slowly ticks like I initially thought

Mobs also do different attacks that make certain jumping areas very difficult

Got 10g by completing fractals 10 last night, better loot visible already

we need to join up and do some fractals tonight, to get me up to 10. I need to do 4+ or 5+, don't remember I'm at work. I'll be on tonight after class (~9 PM CST).

well... everyone knew mechancs and 10 was hard for us

I had a great deal of fun in WvWvW this weekend. Our server made these giant golems and pushed through the castle in the Eternal BG. Freakin' epic. We tore down the gates. Rushed the the castle while hundreds were inside trying to hold us out. We steam rolled and got in but at the last second Sea of Sorrows swarmed in and stole the castle. I was just in awe of the massive battle. Computer was about to blow up with all the people that was in there. Had to turn my graphics to low. Time to upgrade!!!

In WvW about a month ago we downed some Event boss in WvW.

He dropped alpha siege golem for me.

I then used it, and became a giant siege robot

I literally had about 50 players following me around, giving me speed boosts and portals to get me from castle to castle to attack

it was epic! the game is literally so large and so much to it there isn't enough time

still haven't touched sPvP

WvW is an entire separate game in its own

WvW needs some epic skins, and I would play it more

Lend me a hundred gold so I can get a commander title! I would just run around like an idiot so people would follow me.

when they get to you finally in the map, you would be herbing and mining ore in the nude...

you would be like:

"WTF you lookin at?"

Only if I was a Charr bro. Or maybe a huge norn woman.

Turns out our server is pretty good at this WvWvW thing. We were tiered 1 for the longest of all the servers I read on reddit today. I know they have a good Teamspeak set up and they seem coordinated.

"OK... listen up... we are going to loop around and flank them"

You should buy it. When you speak in map it is DARK red. haha. The more I read about Mesmers the more I want one. I may just level one through crafting and do a cheap way to 80. Farm some exotics and tear up WvWvW.

nothing is worse in PvP than playing monkey in the middle vs. a mesmer and all 12 of his clones

Or wasting a freakin' cd to only realized you killed a clone!!!!!!!

Reading on Reddit today. A level 67 guardian pretty much pulled his group through a level 10 fractal. I suck. I'm quitting this game.

last night in fractals 10, our guardian, during a 4 mini-boss encounter, tanked 2 of the mini-bosses, while the rest of the group killed the first 2 mini-bosses

he took on 2 mini-bosses and aggroed them and soloed them, taking what appeared to be no damage

it was a combination of blocking attacks, dodgeing attacks, and blinding them

after the encounter, i was like wow man great job... he said: "as you can see ive done this too many times"

GW2 skill cap > WoW skill cap

can't even compare

and I am starting to think gw2 skill cap > tera skill cap also

I am still learning every day, I make a conscious effor tin dungeons now to try to pick up as many bonus field as possible... free healing, free speed boost, its pretty epic... and overwhelming at first to take in, understand, and do correctly

GW2 Skill Cap does > Tera Skill Cap IMO. Because Tera still has the trinity. Healers can still bail you out if you misclick. Misclick in GW2 and it is over.

When I first did dungeons in GW2: I stood in place while fighting bosses.. ala WoW style, got killed all the time

Then I learned to move around, and I started always moving while fighting

And the final stage is, you dont have to move around all the time, just when its necessary and you recognize things... you move to dodge things or pick up bonus fields

in fractals 8 a dude corrected me: "why are you always kiting the boss in circles?... you are missing all of our bonus fields"

he was right
