GW2 reduced button UI complexity

however, they made combat much more complicated, if you had 40 buttons like WoW it would not be possible

GW2 = less buttons, focus on the actual combat

WoW = more buttons, focus on buttons

I was just going to ask you how in the world do you play without a Naga. With all the movement involved I don't see how someone could be pressing 1,2,3,4....I love my Naga.

I tried setting some buttons up on my G700. It wasn't working for some reason. I have a bunch of other games that work perfectly, I guess I gotta mess with it some more.

I remember WoW. I had my Naga and like 20 keybinds on my keyboard. It was CRRAAZaayy.

Why the hell do mobs in dungeons leash?

This is the worst thing ever! It enables people to blow past mob packs in dungeons, and skip them and go straight for bosses!

To me, this is a fundemental misunderstanding by the GW2 dungeon team, on what dungeons are all about. Why are you enabling dungeon content that can be bypassed?

This happens in most of all GW2 dungeons, and it happens in fractals as well!

Dungeon mobs, once aggroed should chase you thru the whole god damn dungeon!

I think I read somewhere that the dungeon lead designer said it is something they will look into. He said yes he could just turn on aggro forever but the team is not going to do that atm. They are looking to make encounters either more interesting and rewarding or more fun.

was at cursed shore... you would of thought it was a holiday or something, because the zone was packed! I mean everywhere you went there were players... am I missing something?

this game is still wildly popular

Did Melandru's and Grenth event chains, and the changes are awesome.

Grenth is now epicly hard, an awesome encounter.

The Karma vendors are now sporting new gear when the nodes are not contested...

As a result, I have more +Vitality, +Toughness, +Power, exotic karma gear that I need to get on Warrior and Guardian.

This is in addition to my quest for Ascended gear on my warrior.

Finally got my personal fractals level to 10!

going to grind 10 for about a week or so

at 10+ ascended gear has a chance to drop from regular mobs, and the boss chest on even fractals has a chance to drop ascended rings

hoping to pick up some agony resistance before I move ahead... no sense in making it harder for myself untl then

It's hard to login to GW2 right now during my free times when I keep seeing the PoE icon in my Windows Start menu, haha.

I like both games very much, it's a good problem to have

my play time priority goes

GW2 -> PoE -> LoL

at the end of the night, I am so tired, that I just have no energy to put time right now into PoE, I will on weekends

my commute sucks, and work is a grind ffs

Grinding RL epics is not as fun.

the funny thing is... market trends... and behavior in mmos is VERY similar to IRL markets and human behaviour
