| How did you end up with that? It's essentially dial a quick dial ...
you program an actual number like 800 555-4444 into one of the quick dial slots like say slot 2 then to dial that number all you need do is pick up the phone and dial 2#
Not sure how many numbers bell allocated ... typically it's 8 (using dial keys 2 through 9) but some telcos offer 30.
With most modern phones offering memory dial capability it's a total rip-off! |

God what a rip off. |

 | From the company that charges $2.80 a month for touch-tone services.
DTMF dialling is over 40 years old and with the adoption of digital switchgear the difference between pulse or tone dialling is moot...unless of course you are an accountant at Bell. |

Example: Dial *74 + "2" + "416-555-1234" + "#" + hang up
For call this number, on hook: Dial "2#" and ringing instantly!!!
I'm jealous! I want this option, but Bell does offer more, only subscribers who have this function can keep it, if you cancel, you'll never get it back.
The advantage of this feature, you not hear the dialing, it's very very fast and it works with any basic phone anywhere in your house as it may be because the programming is in the DMS Bell. |
