| Is anyone surprised? When I dropped AT&T land-line service they gave me the run around. I just wanted basic phone service, nothing else. But they kept adding fees and saying it would cost extra to remove call waiting, voice mail, call forwarding, ect. $30 a month for a land-line I hardly used was too much, and they were telling me it would be $40 a month without the extra crap they were changing me extra for.
When I called to cancel they finally offered me a $14 a month rate, but it was too late and dropped them totally.
