[Northeast] New FiOS speed increases live in NJ

Just had Verizon come out and upgrade my connection from 25/25 to the 150/65.

That's not new.

150/65 has been available for a long time.

Depends what he/she is paying.

I thought the old plan was 150/35 (Although it appeared to be provisioned like 150/65 from speed test results)

This is confusing did you opt in for 150/35 or 25/25 just became 150/65?

Can we just lock the thread? The new speed tiers have not launched yet & it's clear the OP changed speed packages.

Shouldn't the OP just waited for the new tiers with lower pricing for the 100mb/s+ speeds?

Unless the CSR didnt know that they werent officially released yet for processing and upgraded him with the new package already...

I will most likely be upgrading after years of being on 50/20 to either the 75/35 or the 150/65 package if available...

I just assumed that OP moved to 150/35, which of course, as many in the field know, is actually 150/65 when you do speed tests. I assume the OP is mistaken he/she is actually on the 150/65 tier (As it is not available, anywhere).
