I rember when my ping was under 100 once good times but like WS says I'm sure it's not anything to do with over selling...minus when they say the line are over used I guess.
We are "paying" for 6 not that i"ve ever seen that number.
Do love using testmy.net, you are 93% slower then the US avg. |

| You're pinging a server 2000 miles away. If you're gonna post a bad speed/ping, at least do it smartly and honestly, because you just did neither. |

| After the outage last week, I've had pretty good speeds, especially once I dropped the line "I guess I'll help the investigation..." on them.
I've hit 900KB/s for minutes at a time despite it being rated at 7200. Dunno if that's steam and origin being flukey, but I definitely won't complain. The 75 dollars a month though is ridiculous considering I used to get 12mb service for 50 where I used to live(4 miles away).
Thank god I'll be switching to Charter in 2 months. |

Oh, I think it is safe to move the time frame from 8pm - 12 to somewhere around 3pm - 12.

| Haven't you heard Windstream considers 'peak time' from 5pm to 3 am. The time frame has been moved to 40% of the day as per tech support when I called them at 2am because I was getting .04 mbps of 12 |

I can't even complete a test from speedtest.net. The upload won't finish. I'm sure my ping time of 2.2 seconds, yes, SECONDS, isn't helping anything. I'm so glad I'm moving in August to an area that has Charter so we can get this service cancelled. So long Suckstream! |

Out of 3 Mbps down, 1.5 Mbps up. Direct connect of lab laptop to DSL Router to ensure no other traffic. Has been like this for a week solid now. Two day-long outages this spring as well affecting large portions of Iowa. Latency is inexcusible; I can get from Omaha through Denver to Houston on in under 30ms. I can't get from the local DSLAM to the state regional router 60 miles away under 200 ms. |

| Call them and have them charge you for the lowest tier and then ask for a monetary discount.
I pay for 1.5 and that looks like what you have. Not 12.
