Re: [Speed] Post your speedtest between 8pm-12am hereThis is how it looks right now, which is fairly good. God help me if I try to upload any photos though - then everything stops and it takes forever. In the evening and on weekends, it slows to a crawl and disconnects everyone from games/netflix, etc. |

After 3 years of consistent calling, finnaly have gotten a respectable speed, the calling pays off, even though it does not feel like it early on :P |

It's only getting worse. Not even usable until midnight or later. Took me 4 hours to download a 300MB patch for Destiny when it came out Tuesday. |

That's right. Be jealous of my life. Having internet that can barely go to a website on a daily basis = WINNING |

Wow I didn't expect this thread to go on as long as it has.
Thought I would post an update. I moved cities, and have access to different ISPs. My old location still hasn't been upgraded to 6/.768 (imagine that, after all of those promises!).
Keep it up guys, this is all good information that can be used as a metric if we get enough input. Thank you all for the input, and for those of you who are still experiencing issues, stay vigilant and keep calling. Be a squeaky wheel. |

I called to complain about my poor speed (again) here in SC....and was told by the customer service rep that I should just find another provider because the area is oversubscribed and that I should look into using Disk Network for internet (that they also sell and make commissions on I'm sure) or some other alternative -- like I have any other choice of providers! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Asked to speak to a supervisor and she said the same thing and they definitely would not be making any bill adjustments either. Just opened a complaint with the FCC.... |

Been having slow downs for the past 3 weeks at night. This is the worst it has been... Usually get over 24Mb/s down. |

Just the typical windstream bullshit. Paying for 3mb. Getting this.

Here's mine: We upgraded from 12/768 once that connection became stable. For the last few months I've been on the 24/1.5 and honestly it's not seen a single issue. I'm thankful WS listened to us here in this area; I spent YEARS complaining. |

This has been happening more frequently over the past several weeks. Now between 7pm and midnight I can no longer stream any video except 240 res YouTube. Looking into Service Electric Cablevision, the only other option in my area. |
