Re: [game] AvengersInteresting.
My power was/is to survive one night kill attempt.
So, if we go with the theory that I was targeted night 3 and survived with my power and then you protected me, that fits the scenario of 2 nights with no kills.
That would also make Modem a liar since if I was targeted on night 3 and survived on my own with my power and was then subsequently targeted again on night 4 and saved by Brom, then Modem should be dead if he switched us because he would have been protected and I would not have been because of the switch.
But, Brom could also be lying which would throw all this out the window. |

I'm trying to figure out how this makes me a liar, explain plz |

So how does the kill work with a switch?
If mafia tries to kill me but you switch with me do they kill you ? |

I think you're overcomplicating this. If the mafia tried to kill you, and I tried to protect you, then both of those actions would be transferred to Modem when he switched the two of you. The ultimate outcome is the same, no one died. This does not make Modem a liar.
@47, the answer to your second question is yes. The bus driver swaps the targets of the action. So if mafia tried to kill you, but Modem switched himself with you, then he would be the one to die. |

Do u get return info if your save did anything ?
So logic time.
Night 3 you choose to save modem. Modem switches me and him. and No one dies. Note: Dunga claims to have a one freebie talent which saved him and explains the no death.
If Dunga is lieing than I was targeted and thats how we got to day 4.
Night 4 you choose to save Dunga. Dunga is targeted for death, but Modem switches with him and no one dies because of the protection. Now if Modem was the one targeted he would live if Dunga was mafia we would have no deaths.
This is where we are, yes? |

I see and withdraw my comment about Modem. I thought that the switch would only affect the town actions (i.e. protection) not the mafia's targeting.
Understood now.
Sorry for the confusion. |

Let's say that I chose to save Dunga, and mafia chose to kill Modem, but then Modem did the switch. Modem would be saved, and Dunga would have died, and really my protection wouldn't have done anything. I get no return info if my save was successful or altered or anything. |

If modem was the mafia target night 4 and he switched with Dunga than Dunga should have died because the protection was on Modem. If he is mafia he would live right? Or is oops mafia killed mafia at night possible ?
If Dunga was the mafia target night 4 and modem switched him. Modem lives because of your protection.
Two possibles. |

I do believe that mafia can end up killing themselves because of Modem's switching.
So there was really only one possibility for Night 4 from what I see, and that's that both mafia and myself targetted Dunga. |

Protus seems really really distant still. As does Chlen and Meningitis |
