Re: Does Comcast $7/mo modem include WiFi They aren't lending you X equipment, they are just getting you connected. Sometimes that's Gateway device (modem/router combo) or just a Modem. There is no way for REP to know what device the technician will have on their truck when they come to your place or what gets shipped to you. As long as you are connected and it works that's all that they care about.
If you want fancy network management tools and all that, that's usually up to you to provide. Unlike DSL, you generally don't get wireless included with modems but some do offer that. |
