TruConnect Internet on the Go Mobile Hotspot

what's up with this new company and plan that works off SPRINT?$4.99 a month PLUS 3.9 cents a meg?

That would be $39.93 for 1GB
$79.87 for 2GB
$119.80 for 3GB
$157.74 for 4GB
and a whopping $199.68 for the standard 5GB

PLUS $99 for the device.

AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE? WHO in the world would possibly
fall for this plan?

Wal-Mart is advertising it, but its on the net as well.

this would be useful as an emergency backup.

IF your main provider isn't sprint

...and at those prices, it would have to be a real emergency.

one or two days over a year compared to a full price Sprint adapter.

True. The way our company does it is with the more affordable pre-paid. So if a main provider is an ATT wireless card we will carry a virgin mobile or a tmobile prepaid with us. If their main is a sprint card they will carry a pre-paid tmobile or verizon, and so on... at their rates (TruConnect) we would go broke if anyone every needed to break out their backup device as the files were sending back and forth would cost hundreds of dollars over a a few days.

Wal-mart just launched the same device (of course, its actually by tru-connect).

Its boils down to 4.4 cents per meg, because there is no 4.99 monthly fee.

SAME DIFFERENCE.

i think it was $45 for 1GB in the walmart plan.
