Boxing: PACMAN Robbed

He won every round and the Judges gave the fight to Bradley.
I'm done with boxing.

THE FIX WAS IN!

Well this is how it is. This is business. They have to do something to earn more.

From FOX Sports:
* In a fight Pacquiao seemed to have in hand, two judges decided otherwise, giving Bradley a split decision and ending the Filipino fighter's seven-year unbeaten run.
* Promoter Bob Arum: ''I've never been as ashamed of the sport of boxing as I am tonight,'' said Arum, who handles both fighters.
* The Associated Press had Pacquiao winning 117-111.
* Statistics showed Pacquiao landing 253 punches to 159 for Bradley
* Compubox statistics showed Pacquiao landing more punches in 10 of the 12 rounds.

Koodos to Bradley for being so dominate in the 13th round and up. He was losing up until the end of the 12th.

The most sketchy fight I've ever seen in a sport that's always somewhat sketchy.

Manny Paq should have been disqualified for keeping Bradley waiting just to watch a Basketball game. I'm not a fan of either but you always come to a match on time. That must have pissed off the Judges.

The fight before ended abruptly and the decision to not start the main fight until after the basketball game was HBO's I believe.

Anyone else think it was odd that Bradley said he would rematch with Paq on November 10th or whatever right after the fight? How would he know the exact date of a fight right after.

Either way its BS that Paq lost. Be kudos to him for handling it well.

There's almost always a rematch clause. Whether anyone would want to watch it is debatable. In this case, since Manny lost, it might generate some interest among the Pacman followers. If the fight went the other way no one would be interested.
Regardless of whether he won or lost I think the Pacman has seen his better days. With all the hype he should have knocked out Bradley.
I now believe that Mayweather will take Manny. But both fighters are not what they used to be. soon it will be the Battle of the Has Beens.

I'm not a boxing fan. I don't watch it. Maybe they did this so it would bring people to watch a rematch?

If Pacquiao had won nobody would care about a rematch. Now they do.

I dont want to see a rematch. I want a public interview with all the judges of the fight. Have them explain their scoring.

Re: Boxing: PACMAN Robbed

So here's the other side of the fight. Many say Pacquiao didn't really have an effect punch all night. Maybe the commentator's influenced my take on the fight.
I still say Pacquiao won the fight.
