| Anyone of use Verizon Wireless as your Internet service? Hello.
I am on Verizon Wireless carrier for its phone (iPhone 4S and LG Cosmos2) and limited data plans. I was going to get its unlimited data plan, but it is being dumped. $80 for 10 GB per month + $10 per 1 extra GB per month is expensive.
I was planning to use its unlimited wireless data plan for shared computers, phones, etc. This includes outside of the home too.
Do any of use it a lot for downloading, gaming, videos, etc.? Do you really go over 10 GB easily per month?
Is Sprint the only that still does unlimited? I can't do T-Mobile because its service is weak in the home area.
Thank you in advance. |

1 edit | I set up several people to use Millenicom's Advanced Plan »www.millenicom.com/page/plans#advanced_plan. These people had no choice except for dial-up or bad satellite.
Millenicom's Advanced Plan uses Verizon's 3G network. They buy data transfer capability in bulk from Verizon and resell it.
You get 20GB for $60/month. You must pay the entire cost of the modem, activation, and shipping up front.
You have to be careful with video. Low resolution YouTube and news clips are about all the people I set up use it for. Since all they had previously was dial-up they are enthusiastic about what they do get.

Millenicom has an "Unlimited" Plan for $70/month. »www.millenicom.com/page/plans#unlimited_plan
It uses the Sprint Network. Millenicom buys data tranfer capability in bulk from Sprint and resell it. It is NOT really unlimited. It has a 50GB/month cap.
From the Millenicom website: "The 3G/4G unlimited broadband account is a no contract service that allows for nationwide coverage without a specific cap on the amount of data transfer used for $69.99/month. It requires the purchase of the mobile broadband device for $99.99 and you do not need to return the device when you close your account. There is a one-time set up fee of $49.99 and a $15.00 shipping fee to get the account started.
*Fine Print: The unlimited service is for personal and family use and is not to be used for commercial purposes or as a public WiFi or broadcast to multi-dwelling units or any other extraordinary circumstance. Usage over 50 gigabytes in one month will alert our investigative team.

Sprint's towers are very crowded in some areas. Data transfer speeds can get very slow at times.
