The fix is reinstall the OS. If I do this, will I be losing my profile? |

| It looks, from perusing the Forums, that it affected MacBook Pro's. I haven't seen a post where it affected an iMac. I only looked for a couple of minutes though.
Has anyone had their iMac affected? -- Obama in 2012 - There's No Tea Left In The Bag. |

| reply to MIABye Fix with USB
download the Combo Updater to a USB stick (or you may already have this on your HD), you can (off the top of my head, check syntax): Reboot with Cmd-R (Select Recovery Disk, or boot into install CD)
Utilities Menu : Terminal
From within Terminal window:
cd /Volumes/USB_Stick
hdiutil attach MacOSX10.7.4.dmg
cd /Volumes/MacOSX10.7.4
installer -pkg combo-updater.pkg -target /Volume/Your-HD-Internal -- Comcast HSI 25/4 / Verizon Wireless iPhone 4s / Macbook Pro 15" (Core i5) Hooked up to a 24" Dell LCD / Macbook Air 11" (Core i5) »www.RestartYourComputer.net - IT Techs, Send people here to restart their computer |
