[Billing] VerizonI cancelled my Verizon service 4 months ago. I did not recieve a refund of my $300 deposit. After calling them to find out the status of it. I was told that because i've made more than 2 late payments my deposit was forfeited. This unbelievable to me. I do not owe Verizon a penny but they have taken my $300 deposit. Has anyone else experienced this? |

I didn't know they did deposits... I'm not surprised though, they are well known for shoddy billing practices. |

File a complaint with your state public utilities commission and with the Better Business Bureau. |

At the most you would think they should have only been able to use the deposits toward the late fees. Or any amount still owed when services were cancelled. |
