BiggA join:2005-11-23 EARTH | I think they're right I'm not a huge Comcast fan, but I think Comcast is right, as long as they cite the source. If Verizon wants to compete, they should lay another few thousand miles of fiber, not go after Comcast over technicalities. |

 | Comcast rations bytes so the real-world sustainable speed it can deliver doesn't even qualify as "broadband". |

BiggA join:2005-11-23 EARTH | Care to explain? I'm downloading updates at 1.6MB/s right now. And Powerboost, while a sneaky way to beat the Speedtests, actually does speed smaller downloads and streaming up a LOT. |

 | Because after a couple of days your Comcast speed falls to 0.00 MB/s when you are unable to afford the overage charges. In many usage scenarios even Verizon's decades old DSL technology is superior since it can be sustained. Like 2x better. |

| Comcast doesn't charge overages. You are limited to 250GB/mo, unless you subscribe to business class. And you're not going to use 250GB in a few days. And you physically can't on Verizon DSL because it's so slow. FIOS I suppose you could, but doing what? |
