 | [HN9000] Anyone else down today? Just curious if anyones hughes has been down all day today? I realize most people cant view this site with out internet but maybe some have dial up also. I tried calling hughes and its busy so im guessing there getting hammered with calls. second and third light form the top are out on my modem |

 | reply to Globetrekker I am a Hughes contractor. Our company goes onsite to fix hardware problems. I can confirm Hughes has a major outage. All of our techs nationwide can not even go onsite for the current service calls we have open due to the outage. |

 | reply to Globetrekker Yes, Hughes service has been very slow for a few days. And also experienced no service, 2 lights out on the modem for several hours this morning (California time). Tech line busy. So glad I found this forum or would have been spinning my wheels. |

I stupidly decided to compliment Hughesnet for what seemed to be recent service improvements, so naturally, two days later, karma feels compelled to slap me in the face for it.

 | reply to Globetrekker Down since 7 AM here in Texas. Haven't even had any intermittent service. Finally got through to tech support. The tech had to run a full diagnostic before informing me of the problem stated above. You would have thought she would have known about a major outage from the beginning. |
