When this was wirtten... "by securing for limited times.." the persons who wrote it had no idea what the adulteration of their idea would be. The problem in re copyright for example is that its been extended beyond what a "limited time" by any sane and rational period would be.
Copyright, trademark, etc. are doing nothing to help improve and innovate in the tech industry. They do more harm than good.
