An article here shows the government looking into cable companies in particular... investigating whether or not they are trying to hinder the development of online streaming companies like Netflix or Youtube.

I intend to start writing elected officials on these issues which I've never done for anything in my life. Cable Ones low capped plans are ridiculous compared to other ISP offerings in other areas. I wish the company would be innovative and forward thinking with their new higher speed offerings instead of so old fashioned and restricting. Their attitude is very anti-consumer. |
