| What is service like in Evansville? After I re-married several years ago and moved from Newburgh into my wife's home on the far west side of Evansville I lost all wired cable and Internet options. The area we are in isn't serviced by anyone. It's sort of a no-man's land technology-wise. It's satellite television and Internet (or dial-up) or nothing.
My wife and I are preparing to build a new home on the north side of Evansville and I'm fairly certain the area is serviced by both WOW and Insight. In the past, I've always had WOW, going back to their SIGECOM days. I've noticed that for comparable packages, Insight is about $30 less a month. Of course, I've read a lot of complaints about bandwidth and latency issues as well. I'm curious what WOW service is like in Evansville now. Assuming we go with WOW, we're planning on an UltraTV Basic package with 30Mbps Internet and Advanced Phone. Is anyone able to offer any insight (pun intended)?
