[PHONE] Phone Tools Outgoing Call List:

Phone Tools Outgoing Call List:
I have reported this before and still has not been resolved.
The Phone Tools Outgoing Call List does not list ANY Toll Free numbers, 800, 877, 866, even calls to Cox on their Toll Free number do not show up. Can this be fixed or was this done on purpose for some reason?

I would like to be able to see all outgoing Toll Free numbers that have been called. Thanks.

Does anyone have any Toll Free numbers in thier Outgoing Call History?

Brian,

I've been working with the ops team on this. The short answer is the data in Phone Tools is generated by the billing system (oversimplified view). Since there is no change for 800 calls, they are handled differently.

That said, they are looking into this in more detail to see if it can be updated.

Thanks,
Jim

Thanks Jim for looking into this,

It would make sense that if incoming 800 calls can be logged, that outgoing should also.

All outgoing local calls are logged, and there is no charge associated with those calls either.

I would like to see it updated
Thanks

I think to clarify Jim was trying to say that 800 calls are non-billable which is why they're handled differently. All other calls are billable but you may not be charged depending on your plan.

Since when did Cox start charging for local calls?

Every phone provide that I'm aware offers a very basic package which does not include unlimited local calling.

Brian, thanks for checking. There are no current plans to make the change, but the development team have listed it as a potential enhancement when future Phone Tools upgrades are done.
