 | how do i get new fios quantum speed tiers i'm an existing verizion fios customer with triple play bundle
when i login and check what upgrade options are available to me i don't see any of the new fios quantum speed tiers
and i don't see a way to upgrade just my internet speed
the only upgrade option available to me appears to be to upgrade to a new triple play bundle which includes 50Mbps and over 100 more tv channels at a significantly higher price
so how do i upgrade my internet speed alone and how do i get the new quantum internet tiers alone
and without having to upgrade my tv to include hbo/cinemax/showtime/tmc/ect |

 | make sure youre logged in then go »www22.verizon.com/FORYOURHOME/GO···dle.aspx which should show all your bundle options |

 | reply to morespeed I am having the same trouble. I go to the links and try to upgrade the service but it only shows me the old tiers.
Are the new tiers not available everywhere Verizon has service?
I currently have the Ultimate package with 35/35. and am just looking to upgrade to the new tiers. |
|
 | ok it's finally showing up!
i can upgrade from 35/35 to 75/35 without changing my tv or phone service for an additional $20/m
so from $114.99/m to $134.99/m
and from 35/35 to 150/65 without changing my tv or phone service for an additional $104.98/m
so from $114.99/m to $219.99/m
and 300/65 is only available as a standalone service |

 | reply to morespeed I have FIOS Triple Play as well. I'm paying $110 / month with 20/20 Internet.
All I want is to upgrade the 20/20 to the current comparable plan, which is 50/25. The privilege would cost me $130 / month using Verizon's online Upgrade / Renewal Center.
I just don't see the point. The 20/20 is plenty for me even with heavy 24/7 bittorrent use.
There isn't a way to just upgrade the Internet speed to a current speed tier? |

FYI that bundle cost 20 bucks more a month anywhere else outside of the NY market |

1 edit | It used to be a new bundle was only if you added or removed a service. Not if you changed a service level. But Verizon quickly found out they could grab us by the **** and there is not much we can do about it. Even last month a CSR told me I could keep the same bundle and increase my speed, or go with a new bundle which would increase my commitment term and extend my discount. They lie like a rug! DO NOT believe anything unless it is in writing, and even then it is written in legal garbage that can be interpreted any way you like.
I have seen very recently one of their LEGAL Contracts that said they could back out any time after it was signed, and that they where not bound by it. So tell me how that is a contact? Trash!
