Browning BR-180. 3dB gain VHM, 6dB gain UHF. Works great. I also bought the recommended mag mount, which is very strong.

I have this on my Kenwood TH-F6. Great antenna. It's 9 times bigger than the radio, though.
For mobile applications, I use this guy:

Had to get the mag mount and big-connector-do-watchie (name is escaping me at the moment) to SMA pig-tail. It works very, very well. |

I have the above Comet antenna. Other than its obscenely excessive length (ala poke you in the eye with the HT still on your hip!), its a stellar performer.
