anon posted : Speaking of Google apps. I read their terms and it doesnt look like you can terminate it for any reason? I don't want it but you have to if you sign up a domain with them. It seems the Google apps is a trap? Sorry if this is considered hijacking a thread but it was related and I didnt want to start another Google apps thread. Apologies in advance.

cdru posted : I use a Google apps for a free personal domain although I believe it's still technically Google Apps for Businesses. I have not noticed any problems recently like you describe. But I don't send real often to intra-domain users and I only have the one domain.

In the past I know as I test email campaigns for clients messages deemed "spam" will just silently disappear into the ether between being accepted and showing up in my inbox. It won't even show up in my junk mail folder. It's been a while, but I believe one of the triggers that can cause this behavior is if SPF records were configured but the email failed validation.

I never really liked this behavior, but it also prevents reply-to spamming where the message bounces back to a 3rd person.
