He never really made it big... He was around artists that broke (he was basically repsonible for Rod Stewart and Elton John...).

Did a TON of voiceover work once he moved to Canada, lots of commericals and cartoons - you've heard his voice, no doubt!

"Don't Lay no Boogie Woogie" is probably his best known song in North America - get's moderate rotation on "Classic Rock" radio stations.
