That's because of "total power" but then why is it that many systems like to and do have DOCSIS 3 run higher like above 40 dB but below 50 dB than did DOCSIS 2 ? |

Because some systems are lazy and think padding return amplifiers will get them better carrier to noise figures because the modems are transmitting higher? |

| My logs are capturing a lot of entries pertaining to dynamic downstream changes. Is this normal behavior? I don't recall the frequency changing as often as it is right now, or at all.
