No so much I hate the discount for the NY market as there is a constant theme of whining for what you do pay, which is below what every one else does. Must be something in the air or water up there

Same here. I called a spoke with 3 reps. They told me that hopefully by the end of August they will have the upgrade done (to the network in my area) and I can get the higher speeds. In am stuck with the 35/35 plan. In fact, when I signed up for it, a tech called me back a few days later and said I would not see 35 on the u/l and he would give me a little more download speed. I test all the time and have 42 down and 23 up max. In the past year, the speed test have never exceed those speeds from various sites. |

Since the bandwidth is shared the fluff kind of depends on how much bandwidth is currently available on your PON switch. |

Well strange thing is I go to log on today and now I can get 75/35 the same price I have now for $94.99 for triple play that I have as 35/35
That is a no brainer I just renewed for 2 more years @ 94.99
Hopefully by the time I get home it will be upgraded.
I could have went to 50/25 for $89.99 but figured why not get the 75/35 |

Well from what i understand with 75/35 can maybe get speeds as high as 90
For same price I am paying I cannot really beat it.
Does anyone know why in my order status says sending out a tech to my house tomorrow morning to complete install? Thought they do this all remotely |

For some reason my Ping got twice as bad, last night when I checked same server was 5 MS now it 11 ms. I don't get that? |

Meh.. I don't think I would really trust speedtest.net for latency checking. The LA speedtest.net server runs off my server and i always see ~3ms latency to it via ICMP but via the speedtest flash applet I get anywhere from 0ms to 15ms. I wouldn't trust it.
