Meh.. I don't think I would really trust speedtest.net for latency checking. The LA speedtest.net server runs off my server and i always see ~3ms latency to it via ICMP but via the speedtest flash applet I get anywhere from 0ms to 15ms. I wouldn't trust it.

Hopefully by the time I get home it will be upgraded.

I could have went to 50/25 for $89.99 but figured why not get the 75/35

Since the bandwidth is shared the fluff kind of depends on how much bandwidth is currently available on your PON switch.

I test all the time and have 42 down and 23 up max. In the past year, the speed test have never exceed those speeds from various sites.

No so much I hate the discount for the NY market as there is a constant theme of whining for what you do pay, which is below what every one else does. Must be something in the air or water up there ;)

Only you can make that choice, basically the upload is the same, you get 26+mb more on the download for your 5 dollar bill
