When you dial you will see it will connect you to a bridging number with Google, and you will be charged peak/anytime minutes for the segment. You won't play for the international segment with Verizon, but you will be charged the applicable rate from Google Voice.

 | Try an app on android called talkatone. It will use your data instead of voice. My brother used it in Europe on his trip and all he used was data. It ties into Google Voice and makes/receives calls from your assigned number. |
