Re: [VPN] RV082

I am doing a hub and 6 spoke IPSEC VPN with a RV082 as the hub. One of my support venders also does SSL VPNs to my RV082.

I do not use any special firewalling rules for the VPNs.

I can post a sanitized configuration if you are having trouble.

Regarding the IPSEC VPNs... Is it necessary to use Cisco's software client or is the RV082 acting as the endpoint?

Cheers,

I am not using any software for either IPSec or SSL, at my end.
The IPSec is handled entirely in router firmware at both ends, I suspect the SSL VPN is software at their end.

While there are changes you can make, the RV082 and RV042 can be set up out of the box with just the IP address and your preshared key to do IPSec VPNs..
