Re: Apple

No, maybe if we enforced laws that are on the books and don't roll back laws that HELP our ECONOMY like NOT TREATING COMPANIES AS PEOPLE thanks to the idiotic right-wing supreme court justices Scalia and Roberts. Maybe if government and the private sector work together more by not allowing companies to screw the consumer.

If we adjust current regulations and remove the right ones ( i.e NOT MINIMUM WAGE, EMPLOYMENT PROTECTION) and remove the loop holes that actually force companies to send jobs overseas like replacing our current tax system, minimum wage has nothing to do with it, get over yourself. If we roll back essential regulations, we will only far farther down the pit, with mittens it will get worse, and we will be stuck with someone was as dumb as Bush, and won't do anything except cater to the right wing.

Also, Apple doesn't have that money to make all of there products here, possibly accessories, again our free market system is setup that middle class doesn't succeed, you only succeed if you screw them.

If you want to go back to the days of mass human rights violations, child labor and slave wages like it is in China, be my guest, because your ignorance and stupidity will shine as bright as the national political toilet seat cleaning up after the SH*T we hear spewed from Republicans and the right wing.

Re: Apple

The Democrats have polices that are just as stupid, like spending our way to recovery. Since when has spending money we don't have help us exactly? Lowering interest rates hasn't helped us either.

Re: Apple

They are not any more stupid then the 8 years of the Bush Admin that looked the other way on regulations. Do what ever you want to do as long as you make money. It would have been interesting to see how the Bush Admin handled the problem if they had another year left in their term. Yes you can over regulate but when you don't enforce the regulations on the books you get dead miners and BP Oil well disasters.
I am all for balancing the budget but not by cutting all programs that go to people in this country but don't touch the military.

Why would AT&T care how they treat employees in China when they don't care how they treat employees here.

I have read it would only raise the cost of the new iPhone by $10 to $50 to produce it here.

I'm perfectly aware of the bullshit that is Keynesian economic theory. There is a reason it is du jour at Ivy League institutions. Hayek's theories are better applied, and make far more sense. Example: Keynesian economists declared victory when the New Deal was purported to raise the nation out of the Great Depression. What actually happened was the advent of World War II, the rise of the military industrial complex, and severe austerity measures in the form of war rationing.

That (or the New Deal) wasn't what saved the US, it was the life under austerity.
