[WEATHER] Generator... almost....
Lost power for a couple of hours during the lightning storm. I waited until the bad weather passed and was literally walking to the garage to take out the generator and get it setup....
I haven't lost power at all since the October storm (or if there was something it was so short that the microwave clock kept working). My generator is only starting every few weeks for exercise... Before that I was losing power at any storm (not long, just 1-2-3 hrs).

reply to SwedishRider That October storm sucked. I went days without a shower, yuck. Thank goodness for other people's kindness. We went 8 days with no power and no phone or cable, IIRC, and 7 without cell service.
