that's what i like to know. $30 to tell some dumb asses how to use their new macbook or confirm that the piece of machinery has bite the dust. although my guess is that they'd want you to have sort of business diploma or B.A. at least since you are expected to make those executive decisions such as replacing broken screens on iPhones for free (new iPhone) and out-of-warranty stuff by 3 days.
although at the store here one of the geniuses working there used to work at Carbon Computing which was an Apple Certified dealer (both sales and repair) - pretty sure it was his 7 or 8 year experience that got him in. (pretty sure Apple scouted the Kitchener store and wiped them clean of their employees)
In most places, $60,000/year pays the rent and provides bread.

Got it from a twitter page of iPhoneCanada. They were saying wages are $9 to $15 for sales associate, and up to $30 for genius. I have doubt it was just for Canada since I believe there is no minimum much below $10 in any of the provinces.
What did you genius friends tell you? I would imagine it might be different dependant on city/state, etc.

Depends on the market and how many years in the position -- it's about the maximum. |
