Asylum? Who (from), What (from) or Why would the Daleks need asylum? And Who would they ask, they Doctor perhaps? They'd either be very desperate of up to something, maybe both? As long as it isn't something as lame as an insane asylum for crazier then your normal "Exterminate" Daleks.

@optonline.net

Diana Rigg is 73. Too bad the show can't really go back in time to 1965.

Because the title is "Asylum of the Daleks," not "Asylum for the Daleks," the word refers to a place. This is where young Daleks go to be trained as soldiers.

@optonline.net

Just saw a LIVE interview with Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, and Arthur Darvill at Comic-Con in San Diego on G4.

And John Barrowman is one of the hosts on G4.

This turned out to be pretty uninteresting. It reminded me of truTV's "World's dumbest..." videos. All it was missing was Tonya Harding.

Honestly I agree, I thought it would be serious like some of those "Science of Star Trek" shows.

Though from a production end I know a phone box was likely picked for the TARDIS simply because its easy to move around for location shoots.

It's most likely airing in the U.K. on Sept. 1 and in the U.S. on Sept. 8. But everything is subject to change.

Except that BBCA is in the US so why would they advertise a UK airing date?

I have no idea. BBC America has ran ads during commercial breaks with the Sept. 8th date. Sept. 1 is on Labor Day weekend. Will BBC America air the premiere episode on a Holiday weekend? I have no idea.

Well apparently we're not the only ones confused; my DVR guides both say no new (season 7) episode on the 1st (and they don't go out as far as the 8th).

They list, instead, the 2011 Christmas special episode (after a full day marathon of season 6 episodes) at 5p PDT (8p EDT)...
