Re: Translation: Humm was there to dump T-Mobile

There may be a prohibition against doing that--inevitable disclosure and all that.

Crazier things have happened. Just watch where he lands. I can comfortably guarantee that it'll either be at Verizon Wireless or at one of Verizon's puppet groups or lobbying arms.

Sorry, released news says he is going back to Europe and probably never wanted to be in the US anyway.

From Deutch Telekom press release:
Humm is going to pursue a career outside of Deutsche Telekom so as to reunite with his family which stayed back in Europe

Maybe he's going home, maybe he isn't.

"The Wall Street Journal adds that "Mr. Humm informed the company in April that he intended to leave at the end of September so he could return to his family in Europe. Mr. Humm's exit was sped up after he informed Mr. Obermann 'a few days ago' that he would be joining" an unnamed a competitor."

Yes, a career outside DT. How is your quote any different than what Romney said?

There are a few wireless companies in the EU he could be going to:

Or even a few in Germany:

He's heading to Vodafone... who owns 45% of Verizon Wireless. How convenient. That piglet didn't move far from the teat.

The wireless industry isn't that big. No matter where he would have gone, there would have been some connection or other somehow.

Why are you randomly trying to attibute bad motive without even knowing anything about his situation?
