A Beautiful DayWell, it was a fantastic day in PDX today. Hopefully, we are finally getting into summer. We need a couple months of sunshine before the rains return. |

Was a nice day up here, too (went to the beach and into the water after work!) though in our case this was probably just a short break between 2 rainy days.... |

Surely you've lived in the PNW long enough to know better!? Summer doesn't start until right around July 4th and usually goes until about the end of September. We're probably nearly a week from summer really starting My little weather forecast widget says overcast but no rain through Sunday but that of course, could change at any minute... and start raining! |

Today is looking very good here this morning and yesterday was nice and enjoyable. Could Summer really be showing up? LOL |

My experience (only 10 years) has been that June is usually pretty nice but this one certainly has been on the cool and cloudy (and rainy) side.
Today was supposed to be cloudy but the sun is shining and its looking to be another nice day.
Enjoy it everyone! |

'Fraid so. Clouding up over here. You'll get it first -- let me know when it is raining out your way. That should give me an hour or so to wrap up any outside activities. |

I'm a bit further south during the day so I'm afraid you're on your own |

said by darcilicious: Summer doesn't start until right around July 4th It can vary. We've had years when it was rainy until mid-July, and we've had years when it was bone dry by July 4th. The latter didn't happen very often, though. Now, as for my prediction, it started raining about 10 mins ago, so it really was a nice day sandwiched between 2 (or more) rainy days. Sometimes I wish I'd be wrong. Edit: forget to mention, I live in the Puget Sound Convergence Zone. |

Still just cloudy here but I can see rain to the west on weather radar. |

Well, today turned out to be very nice, too. At least compared to what we had in the last few days. And more clearing and warming on tap.... And only a mere 25 miles south it is projected to hit 80 by week's end! |

Indeed it has. Just got back from spending the afternoon sitting down by the Willamette River. A simply gorgeous day. |
