Jelly Bean?

Sounds great! Can't wait to see what it runs and looks like on the Nexus.

Just a warning, if you have a Verizon Galaxy Nexus, you will not be able to use LTE data, only 3G.

Edit: Nevermind, that link is for the GSM GN. There is a version of JB for the Verizon GN floating around but it only works with 3G and not LTE.

Source just came out yesterday, gsm will always get updates quicker. I'm vow'ing to never to get a carrier phone again. Actually thinking about picking up the hspa+ gnex on the google play store for use on t-mo.

An unsubsidized smartphone for only $350 is a huge bargain. When my contract with Verizon ends, I'll probably do the same.

It has official jellybean update around the corner. While my s2 is really coming into its own with rom development and I'm running cm9 with zero issues, its a tough call. Thinking about selling off my gf's g2x to offset the cost of the gnex and giving her my s2 so I have both.

Apparently, LTE is in fact working. I'm not going to take the plunge, but if anyone does, let us know how it's working.

I'd say 4.1 is a major update. It has the Project Butter on it.

Perhaps if your running stock unrooted/carrier rom? I can't comment on that aspect as I'm running cm9 and it feels "buttery" smooth. In any event the jellybean source is easily ported because it's so close to ics hence the .1 update as opposed to other milestones. For myself nova launcher provides flawless transitions that they are marketing as this "project butter".

It's basically an ics "fix" for bs they should have done, hence the .1. That said I'm still contemplating a gnex.

Same here. Although after very thorough run through the only thing I found was a couple bugs introduced in a couple apps.

That's troubling.

However I just downloaded it with Rom Manager, did a Nandroid Backup and currently doing a Titanium Backup to my laptop. After it's done I'll flash the Rom and see if I like JB on my unlocked GSM GNex.
