That's what it says. The key is how much is the phone AFTER the promo runs out.

That's what I was thinking. In most states there isn't. Also in TN the first $15 of your cable bill is exempt from sales taxes.

too bad for my sister, who I referred to charter, and signed up June 11.

She got HSI 15 and phone unlimited for $50.

She got her FIRST bill today, and a FREAKING 13.50 in taxes on the $25.00 portion of her charter phone bill.

I can't imagine how ticked off she is going to be when she learns of this new package with TAXES INCLUDED.

and Charter is saying she can't change.

Well you did know price changes were coming on the 26th. So you could have to old her to wait.

Usually they charge in advance so are you sure that's not for 2 months? Or part of another month?

Is her promo for a year?

I was wondering if Charter did the 30 day thing as I've never heard that advertised on their commercials where as Comcast commercials have it all over the place!

She's not in a contract. and as of 6/26/12, there are no more contracts or price guarantees.

just "promos" for so many months. and you can cancel in the midst of that.

So then have her cancel her promo then since she can do so at any time.
