 | .... if your Facebook privacy is set to public
said by »www.weknowwhatyouredoing.com/?action=about : How does it work? It simply queries Facebook's Graph API and outputs the results. There is nothing on this website that cannot be accessed by anyone else. Try it out, GET »graph.facebook.com/search?q=hate···le=en_GB and you'll see the raw JSON output. This site does some filtering to make the output more useful, for example omitting all posts except status updates, and only showing posts in the last column that contain a phone number.
[snip] How do I make sure that I don't end up on here? Just go to »www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=privacy and make sure Control Your Default Privacy is not set to "Public". You can set it to "Friends" but for the best privacy it is recommended you choose "Custom" and go through each option to choose who can see what.

Hehe i saw that and I had my own answer to thier question! BY STAYING OFF ANY OF THOSE INTRUSIVE SITES!! You can't teach people about privacy by using WORDS!!! and TONES!!! that make people close their ears. People are going to use facebook whether you like to or not. The site you posted is a a good demonstration of how putting information in public is really public.
As the site you posted says:

But maybe they don't want to. It's possible the "people who want to get fired" is just that... People who really don't care and maybe want their boss to read what they think of them. They can't care about their job that much, if at all. If they do, then let the "teachable moment" commence.

 | reply to Dude111 People that stupid deserve to be fired anyway.
There are bad bosses out there, and they're a very real problem, but anyone that stupid and/or indiscreet isn't likely to be a good employee to begin with.
Wait till their next prospective boss checks up on them. heeeeeeee Posts like that have about the same half life as uranium. Oops ... |

Re: Site that says they know what your doing Literally >> lol.
I too succumbed to curiosity and ventured into that site.
I was expecting to see my "own" information and was curious how much was going to be thrown back at me. I don't Facebook, but if my social demands change enough where I must advertise to find a friend or two ... I might consider it? |

 | reply to Dude111 I think you need to check the security on YOUR system, because that comes up as an almost blank page here, it shows "We know what you are doing, and you should stop" nothing else.

Dude111An Awesome DudePremium join:2003-08-04 USA kudos:11 | Yes you need SCRIPTS ENABLED to show the data they collect! |
|
 | Oh like those security sites that tell you to turn off your security so they can test your security, then tell you your system is insecure and you need to buy their software?
I am surprised anyone that is as paranoid as you would ever have scripts enabled, you do know that is how they track you right? |
