1 recommendation

The owner used 20w30 in it.

Nice job by the firemen punching out a headlight to make sure they got water on the engine ... Must be in Canada.

Probably didn't care for the LED Daytime Running Lights.

Make one wonder what was in the trunk..............

Very astute of you for noticing that, as the URL has 'Toronto' in it. This isn't the first time an Audi engine has burst into flames, and to which the engine is in the back of the car. The light was punched to get water into the truck space at the front of the car.

I'm suspecting their crappy coilpacks to blame for this.

Didn't know an R8 had truck space. Must be a Canadian thing.

I'm curious about your coilpack diagnosis, though. From what I've read, the ones with problems simply didn't provide spark. Never heard of them causing a fire. Maybe you could point me to some additional reading.

I thought the engine was in the MIDDLE of the car.

I'll just troll you and tell you to use Google, seeing that you were the first one to troll the link. Have fun.

It's still in the back, but they call it mid-engine as the engine sits in front of the rear axle/half-shafts. Again, Google can explain better for those that lack the ability to understand what was told.

You need to learn to keep your type of humor in forums where people understand it, laugh, call you a dirty name, and walk away.

Gee, I wonder where that would be...?
