 | [FireFox] Address Box Drop Down List Where does Fx get the site addresses from that you see in its Address Box drop down list and what determines the order of this list?
Thanks. -- I used to know all this stuff. |

|
 | Yes, I know that, but it doesn't list ALL sites I surf to.
How does Fx determine which few to put in the drop down list, and how do they get moved toward the top?
I see a site in the drop down list I've only been to once and that one is higher in the list than one I've been to hundreds of times, so its order can't be due to frequency of visits. -- I used to know all this stuff. |

I have no idea. I turned it off, and hope that also means it is not logging this somewhere, but don't know. |

 | Hi Bobby,
I've been around, just lurking in the background. I always check the front page for news and check for messages every day.
On Topic: I have "Tell websites I do not want to be tracked" checked in Options -> Privacy and I hope that turns off tracking. The drop down list in the Navigation box I use to quickly go to the sites I go to most often without having to search my Bookmarks, but I've now started wondering where this list comes from. It's no biggie, just a curiosity item.
CHOW -- I used to know all this stuff. |
