 | Users/Setting page showing 2 devices I just moved/transferred my services within the same city (ft lauderdale). I own my modem (zoom) and have been using it for the past 6 months. Before that i was using my own motorola modem.
I just talked to tech support to tell them i'm seeing two "devices" under the "users and setting" page for the bandwidth usage. I told him number 1 is my current modem (zoom) that i brought with me on my move like a mile away and just had service transferred on friday. I told him number 2 modem i havent used in over 6 months (the motorola).
He went on to tell me it's common to see all modems u have used present and in the past on that users and settings page. I told him i've been going to that page ever since they had been doing bandwidth capping just to check my usage and never seen more than 1 modem listed. I get a bad feeling about this.
He assured me it's common. Hmmm |

Can you show us a screenshot?
I don't even see anyplace where such a thing might fit ....

I just recently upgraded my modem from a SB5100 to the SB6121 and are seeing the same exact thing you are ... two devices under the users and setting page for the bandwidth usage so I would tend to agree that it's probably a common occurrence. |

 | Yah there isnt any mac label if there is only one. ComcastSteve in the direct forum fixed the issue from me and removed the unused modem and now i'm seeing what ur seeing. |

| reply to gregftlaud I recieved several phone calls (and they actually left messages, thank you) and a letter a few months back, about a problem the my modem. when I contact them it turnout that they still had my 5100 listed along with my 6120 as active, which automatically started a "your modem may not be D3 compliant warning. not sure if they are pushing towards ALL D3 here, or just trying to remove excess registered equipment for accounts. both still correctly showed as customer owned. My management page has never showed more than 1 MAC |

 | reply to gregftlaud I show two devices. I have one Cisco D3 modem and 1 EMTA for the CDV. Only the Cisco shows usage. |
