Been with Hughesnet since 2007 and just cancelled. Just wanted to thank all the folks in this forum - I've been a faithful lurker 
For the record
Going with a ATT elevate hotspot - $50 for only 5GB data per month -weak- but that suits our household, and I'm sure we'll stay under. Speeds: getting 2.9 MB down, 1 MB up and nice low ping times (120 or so). No antenna used, but I might try one later. My work stuff (over VPN) works much better too than Hughesnet, when I do work from home (not much). I tried Verizon first, but was ineligible for the HomeFusion due to poor signal.
