Yes, their three new plans are quite good actually (39.95$, 44.95$ and 49.95$) The last two are unlimited in your urban area, the only difference I noticed being 125 texts against unlimited.

I guess they're learning.

By the way, they will have some new plans or options starting this week with unlimited incoming call (got this information from the retention department when I told them that I wanted to quit).

The catch is that you now need a $50 plan to get a smartphone at reduced price. Before it was $40.

How about this from public mobile (if you're in Montréal 90%+):

Unlimited province wide calling outgoing/incoming
Unlimited text (international incl)
Caller ID
Voicemail
Unlimited 3g data
3-way calling, call forwarding

35$ for 6 months, no contract, 45$/month thereafter: »www.publicmobile.ca/pmco ··· =promo_2

This seems a better deal to me...

Not really. The Galaxy S III is $249. on the $39. plan.

Well a few days ago it was $100 with a $50 contract or $150 with a $40 contract.
Before that, with any $40 plan you could get the lowest price on any smartphone.

There was a sale recently for that plan (sounds like the same anyway), for $35. And for me, it actually becomes $25 (for two years out of the three years plan) since it is my fourth service with Videotron, so I got the monthly $10 rebate, for two years.

And I got the HTC Amaze on that $35 plan, no problem. It's not the most recent smart phone, but it's very good, and it cost me only $50 with the 3-year plan. How nice is that? Very

I rarely travel very far. How good/bad is the network..?? How is the signal strength..?? I'm with Virgin now, so Bell's network. Is there much of a difference..??

Thanks.

What is that $10 rebate? I can't see listed anywhere on the website. Is it through retention?

It's a rebate you get when having a combo of services. All the big companies have them (Bell, Rogers, Videotron...). When we got the cell phone, it was our fourth service with Videotron, and it looks like it can get you a $10 rebate per month for 24 months. I didn't even know before I asked the sales rep if there was something for me for now having a 4th service.
