| [HD] Setting TV Resolution on RNG200 N Hey all- New customer as of this week. Got set up with Anyroom DVR. On my main box (RNG 200N) - is there a way to set up the TV resolution and 4:3 override via the guide? Or only via the Power Off, Hit Menu and bring up the diagnostic screen?
I used this menu to do it initially on Monday, but every time when I shut my TV and STB down, it resets back to 720p and I have to reset the resolutions every time I turn it back on.
With FIOS, you could set it right there via the guide menu. -- "ONE team - ONE city - ONE dream!!" |

| So I don't know what else to do.
Every single time the RNG turns on, it erases all of my settings and reverts back to 720 / 480i for resolution.
This is getting very frustrating. I've rebooted, pulled out the HDMI cable, reset it...etc....
Any other thoughts on what could be causing this? -- "ONE team - ONE city - ONE dream!!" |

Just leave the DVR on...you do know the hard drive runs 24/7 either way, so what's the point in shutting it off? Most users I know never turn them off & they seem to have fewer issues doing this... |

| Dishrich- Thanks. While I hate not solving the actual issue, I did decide to edit my Harmony remote to no longer toggle on/off the STB during the "Watch TV" activity.
That should solve it for now... -- "ONE team - ONE city - ONE dream!!" |
