[Embarq] horrible internet!!!

since yesterday morning my dsl goes out every 3-4 minute and they said a tech wont be here till Thursday so now we stuck with very unreliable internet

Just a heads up when the field tech gets there, have him hook up a new modem. This has happened to me before the after all the wasted time having the techs deal with my physical lines, I found out it was just the modem. Not saying this 'is' your problem, but it just might be.

We had constant drops in connection for 2 months then the tech replaced the modem they shipped us (already had been replaced onece) with the actiontec q1000 (one of the best they offer) and the connection has not dropped once in a month.

They keep sending me the freaking outdated Westell 7500s lol
